  A very disappointing stay: misleading room description, broken air-conditioning, poor cleanliness, terrible food, and ov

  Liked: The location was convenient, but unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet our expectations.

  Disliked: The experience was extremely disappointing. The hotel advertised air-conditioning in the room, but upon arrival, we were told that it was not working. The room was incredibly hot, and we were given only a fan, despite paying for accommodation that included air-conditioning. Our balcony was covered with cigarette butts, apparently thrown down by guests on the floors above us. We were staying on the first floor, and this was unhygienic and completely unacceptable. The food was very poor in taste, with extremely limited choices. The quilts were of poor quality, the bathroom was dirty and appeared deteriorated, and the parking garage was excessively expensive. Furthermore, the room and view we received did not match what was advertised and what we had paid for. We feel misled by the description of the accommodation. Overall, this hotel failed to meet even basic expectations regarding cleanliness, comfort, food quality, and value for money. We would not recommend it to others, and we are extremely disappointed with our stay.

  Liked: Overnight stop on our travels across Europe. Location is on the sea front but not much is open, which we expected as it's low season. We had B&B booked but added the evening buffet meal. Food was nice and there was a fair choice. Room spacious and added bonus of a balcony. Bathroom fabulous!

  Disliked: We booked this hotel with (paid) parking in mind as our car was full of our belongings for our relocation. We used the parking opposite the hotel, marked 'hotel parking' but when checking in was told it's staff only. It's a huge carpark and seems to be the one mentioned on the booking site. The parking on offer was an underground garage - on site and secure (so better), however the height limit is 2m and this wasn't published on the booking site. We had roof box on our car so exceeded this. Our only option was to park down the main road in a lay-by as under no circumstances could we park in the hotel car park. Not the fault of the staff who were very apologetic. However we watched guests going to and from the car park all evening - clearly not staff!
