Fabulous
Would definitely recommend this cute hotel, but not during the village fiesta!! The techno rave music only stopped at 6
Liked: Gorgeous village, and a very cute hotel with a lovely room.
Disliked: Breakfast was at the sister hotel down the road
Not well-thought hotel with inconvenient facilities - but right in the heart of the city
Liked: The hotel is right in the old city center.
Disliked: I don't know how the hotel got 5*, to my opinion only location deserves this. Our room was uncomfortable. More than half of it had a inclining ceiling lower than our height - so even if you're not tall, be prepared to hit your head every time you go somewhere in your room. It could have been solved by cutting the lower part - but then the area of the room would decrease a lot. Basically we were spending time inside being bent just in case. Besides, it is a mockery to have only "switch everything" button. You can't leave just this or just that light. You have a few outlets that will continue working but you can't really use both reading lamp and phone charger. The fridge will be working but you can't use microwave at the same time. If you want it - switch on all the lights back! The bathroom is also under a low ceiling - I would prefer a shower rather than a jacuzzi in the morning, but no. If you want a hot tea - they don't have a kettle. Finally, it is hard to drive to the hotel - and also expect closures during holidays. We checked out during preparations to a festival (that was a few days after) but we had to park somewhere where it wasn't allowed and run with lots of heavy bags from the hotel to the car.
I came to see the eclipse in a medieval setting and I the experience was outstanding!
Liked: I enjoyed the breakfast. The reception welcome desk was really nice. The view from the bedroom was great.
Disliked: The bowl of fruit was very old, and the fruits were bad underneath. The expresso machine wouldn’t plug anywhere! But they don’t charge for the fridge contents, so it makes up for it.
I feel I paid too much for what I got
Liked: It’s very convenient, beautiful house.
Disliked: Price and facilities
Liked: The facilities and the location
Disliked: Organisation of hotel reception and restaurant was in one word chaotic.
It was ok, but could be better
