Guest reviews
Very good
Lovely old Hotel in lovely town
Liked: Beautifully situated, Lovely room and ensuite with bath and separate shower. Private free car park.
Disliked: 20 steep high steps with no hand rail up to main entrance. This should be stated.
Really enjoyed. Staff friendly & helpful
Liked: Beautiful place. Well maintained. Swimming pool wonderful.
Better than expected.Read some negative reviews, but could not fault the place
Liked: Breakfast was Ok.Plenty of choice and fresh.
Disliked: Basic breakfast.
Liked: Really friendly staff, excellent pool and relaxed atmosphere. The staff could not do more to assist. A beautiful, authentic hotel
Disappointing
Liked: The palace was nice
Disliked: Bookings did not mention that this week there was no heating nor breakfast available at the hotel. This was extremely disappointing. Also, the hotel was completely shut down on Sunday at 1:00 pm, so we were unable to leave the car.
