  Magnificent, Spacious- superb views

  Liked: Ronda is an amazing town, brilliant views- this house was just as good! Firstly it is eco friendly with solar panelling heating the water. Spacious inside and large garden with fruit trees and a sizable pool,outside. But totally enclosed which was so good for our dog.He loved it!. The views from the patio across the valley were a amazing surprise Inside the house it had a magnificent Andulician feel..and had all the facilities you would require. Margarita made contact via WhatsApp to explain about keys and any other concerns we might have. The blankets in the wardrobes were cosy on a chilly night and much welcomed. A place we could see ourselves staying at as a base for further exploration in the future. Just a WOW!

  Disliked: It being late October it was chilly at night and there is an additional charge for the chiminea..not sure why heating which was solarpowered was not switched on?

  Great find. Would certainly return

  Liked: Perfect for three of us on cycle tours. Really big property with a great outdoor space.

  Disliked: You need a car - we had bicycles, so it was okay. It's a little far to walk to town and there's no real pavement for the first part of the route.

  Liked: Lovely house on the edge of Ronda. Its a bit rustic but that's part of the charm! Nice gardens with lots of outdoor space for relaxing. Gets a bit cold at night (in April at least) so just be prepared for that. Great value and I'd definitely book it again if I went back

  Disliked: Pool was closed when we went (Easter 26) which was the only let down as it didnt say anywhere that it would be unavailable. Hot water wasnt very hot, but when we asked about it someone came and sorted it out.

  A lovely villa close to Ronda BUT be prepared to pay plenty extra for heat and hot water

  Liked: A lovely villa, surrounded by garden, with olive and other trees, with great views across a valley to hills and mountains. We enjoyed sitting on the verandah watching the sun set over the western ridge. Well equipped kitchen. We dealt with the cleaner via whatsapp and she seemed really kind and helpful. For information it's about 5-10 minutes drive into 'old' Ronda; we found plenty of free parking about 5 minutes walk from the famous bridge.

  Disliked: We were there end March and chose not to pay the extra 25 euros a night for heating. What we didn't realise was this left us totally reliant on solar water heating. In spite of almost unbroken sunshine, the water temperature barely broke 30C, after 10mins running the water, which made for a very miserable wife. In addition, there was a very heavy suggestion that we didn't use energy outside of 10am to 5.30pm until 31st March, including the cooker, which is pretty restrictive if you are self catering. The owners had left several unfriendly messages such as; - you can only use the washing machine if you stay more than 5 nights - if you leave any rubbish of any sort we will seek compensation... It just didn't make for a pleasant, carefree holiday experience
