Fabulous
Quiet, rural location and within walking distance of Ronda
Gem of a b&b spoiled by poor access road off the highway
Liked: Beautiful rural location yet only 10 minutes by car from Ronda centre. Friendly welcome & service. Excellent breakfast.
Disliked: Dreadful, ummaintained road access - for SUVs only. Your tires & bodywork will get a severe workout.
Enjoyed my overnight stay
Liked: Charming, clean and a good value. Dinner was good and the breakfast was made to order and served.
Disliked: Be prepared to converse in Spanish only.
Liked: The location and views are the best feature of this hotel. There are beautiful landscapes around, fields, mountains, horses. The staff was very friendly as well. Breakfast was very god.
Average experience
Liked: Location makes the place peaceful. The road to get to the hotel is perfectly fine as long as you follow the instructions provided before check-in by the hotel (and not googlemap). Bathroom would need some refresh to today standards. And it was very smelly making the room quite smelly. Twin beds and pillows were comfortable enough. The staff who welcomed us was very kind. However the staff at breakfast were not really especially the cook. Breakfast is subpar and quite a disaster. Better for the hotel to either charge the breakfast or not offer it at all at this point. Low quality, very low quantity with bacon / fried eggs burned… the cook could use a clean pan and a minimum of care. Pictures attached. The fresh orange juice was the only positive. Not a good start of the day. We did not use the pool. It just felt the place could be very nice after some refresh and with a good management and good breakfast, not much sadly as it is today. A missed potential.
Most romantic Hotel I have ever stayed
Liked: Views are to die for. Most beautiful scenery around I have ever seen.
Disliked: No mini fridge in the room, staff run out of a lot of food for the dinners. Also road leading up to the hotel is a bit dangerous because of the steep angle down. But otherwise this place is 9 out of 10 and I hope I'll be returning for this hotel some time soon.
