What a lovely home in Ronda!

Liked: We were so pleased to stay in this lovely home just south of the Old Town section of Ronda. The house itself was just beautiful, and everything was super clean and comfortable (bed, shower, living room, dining area, kitchen, etc.). It was like staying in a home away from home. Irene met us with the keys and was extremely helpful and kind. There's a small but well-stocked supermarket right around the corner (literally, a one-minute walk from the house). The street is quiet, and, although we didn't have a car, we could see that there was parking available on the street during our visit. It took us about 7 - 8 minutes to walk from the house to Ronda's Old Town. There are a number of cafes along the way that are full of locals having fun and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Once you arrive in the Old Town, everything Ronda has to offer is at your fingertips. If you don't want to walk into town, there is a bus stop near the supermarket in the neighborhood. We took it one morning, and for 1 euro, you can ride it into town and all the way to the bus station and train station. For seniors, the fare was 50 cents. All in all, we were thrilled to stay in this lovely house and in this lovely neighborhood of Ronda. We highly recommend it!

    Disliked: Nothing! Everything was perfect.

Overall, the house could be a wonderful holiday stay with the right maintenance, updates, and clearer communication, but

Liked: The house has great potential, but unfortunately it falls short in several important areas. On the positive side, the location is excellent and the house itself is spacious. The swimming pool is also a welcome feature, especially on hot days, although it requires adding around 10 cm of water daily due to a leak.

Disliked: However, the property is outdated and does not fully match the description. Although advertised as having three bedrooms, only two were available during our stay. Several appliances do not work properly, including the air conditioning, the oven and the television. The kitchen is particularly disappointing: only half of the stove functions, there is barely enough cutlery and plates for four people, and the dishwasher seems to date back to the 1990s. Finally, communication is challenging as the host does not speak English, which is far from ideal for an international holiday rental. (Luckily there is Google Translate)

    Convenient, quiet & welcoming host

Liked: Clean & comfortable & well equipped. Plunge pool was a bonus to cool down after hot day sightseeing. Walking distance into Ronda about 20 mins.

Very nice and convenient place to visit Ronda

Liked: The owner met us at the arranged time so we didn’t have to wait. The house has everything you need to self cater and there is a supermarket just around the corner. You can park your car or moto inside the gates and that is a plus. It is only a 10/15 minute walk to Puerta de Almocabar, so it’s very convenient to start your tour around Ronda. The house has a small pool area in the back that is perfect at the end of the day when the days are still hot. The house itself is very pretty and well decorated. Its comfortable and charming.

We were only there for a few days but enjoyed Ronda as a whole

Liked: The quiet location in the lower part of the town with good parking. Good local restaurants. Good small pool area which like everything was quiet and private. Local shop with almost everything you would need for food, drinks, general items. Quiet air con.

Disliked: The kitchen was a disaster area with very little working re hob and ovens. Additional worktop appliances had been provided but no idea how to use them so ate out all the time. Virtually no clothes hangers 5 per room! No mirrors in bedrooms. Bathrooms need updated.
