  Loved the peace and quiet, pool and the dog. Pappa was lovely

  Liked: Loved it, clean and comfy. Beautiful views, felt like apart of the family, they even drove us into town to their favourite restaurant.

  Disliked: No washing facilities but it's fine..

  Quaint retreat in the mountains

  Liked: This is an amazing property. Feels like you're in a mountain retreat. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed the family and the family dog Estralita. She always knew when we were eating. Mr. Ventura was very welcoming and Rodrigo made wonderful breakfasts. We enjoyed Rodrigo's sons. Noah played the drums for us which was a treat. We met some wonderful people from Sweden staying there. This place is a treat and the surrounding area is beautiful.

  Disliked: The rooms do not have air conditioning, but surprisingly the stone buildings stay cool and owner brought us a fan.

  Peaceful, quiet and welcoming

  Liked: Using Sat Nav to get to the Casa took us 3 different routes but the Casa is well signposted ( Green signs “ Casa Urcela). Pontareas 10 min drive away, nice little town, plenty of free parking, EROSKI Hypermarket as well as other smaller shops, bars, cafes). The Casas (Urcela and Cribeira) have main buildings for bedrooms with a sunny communal eating area where a lovely fresh continental B/F is served by the family. The pool area is lovely with ample loungers and shaded seating areas. There are two very friendly family dogs and the family make you feel very welcome in their home. The main languages spoken are Portuguese and Spanish. Our room was quiet and cool - no A/C however the standard fan was sufficient. Very basic toiletries ( small bar of soap and bottle of hand wash), no hairdryer although I am sure the owners would lend one if needed. Parking outside the rooms (few steps up to rooms). Shaded areas with tables and benches to eat ( we took disposable BBQ) and plenty of wooded areas for dogs to roam.

  Disliked: Our room had a very creaky old double bed that was uncomfortable, however a new mattress would sort this issue. Maybe a few more toiletries are needed.

  Very good

  Liked: Incredibly beautiful and tranquil location off the beaten track to enjoy walks, silence and the local forests / mountains. Great swimming pool and nice breakfast in the garden

  Disliked: The apartment was rustic, spacious and very quiet. However the bed was too soft, not very comfortable.
