Very good
Liked: The hotel was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly Diego who served behind the bar and also acted as a waiter in the restaurant, my husband and myself were very impressed with his willingness and professionalism.
Buena ubicación
Liked: Ubicación excelente, próxima al palacio y estación de autobuses.
Liked: The staff were so helpful and nice. The location is great. The room was big.
Disliked: It's apparently a four-star hotel, but it's not exactly what you expect from a 4-star hotel. The furniture in the room were a bit old. The door of the bathroom would stuck and you had to push it, which is bothering since we were traveling with a baby and it'd wake the baby up. Also, the shower bracket was broken, so the shower head would fall. Maybe other rooms are nicer.
Comfortable quiet hotel that is well located
Liked: Good location for visiting the Escorial and walking around town. Helpful staff at the reception and bar.
Liked: Excellent location just 5 minutes walk from the monastery. Nice, clean room with comfortable beds. Good breakfast
Disliked: Took us ages to find the garage parking. It's hidden down a small road marked with a no entry sign just past the petrol station.
Acceptable hotel for this location
Liked: About a 10 minute walk to the Escorial. Secure parking on premises for 15 euros per day.
Disliked: Limited breakfast options. Dinner service starts at 8 o'clock but really begins when the cooking staff arrives.
