Gorgeous surrounds for a lovely old, historic hotel
Liked: Wonderful room with a view onto the monastery. The staff were lovely and the check in process was simple. Car parking is free on the street outside. The dinner at the restaurant was very tasty as was the breakfast. There is a small gym and a plunge pool, though I didn't get a chance to use them.
Disliked: The hotel was quite noisy and walking in the rooms above and talking in the adjacent rooms was quite loud.
Liked: The history makes it a very special place.
Wonderful place for a detour from the Camino, with a chance to sleep in first class comfort
Liked: Second time staying here, as a side hike off the Camino de Santiago- it's a beautiful walk out of Najera to get here, and then the accommodations are first rate. Dinner was wonderful in the on-site restaurant, and the monastery is a must-see. Having lunch on the patio looking out to the mountains is a great experience.
