  Lovely stay with fabulous staff and great location

  Liked: Beautiful building in a great location. Good sized rooms.

  Disliked: There was no separate shower - you had to climb into the bath.

  Among the worst 5-star hotels I've stayed in over 50 years of global travel..but Segovia magnificent

  Liked: the location is great, the building beautiful, easy to walk to wonderful Segovia, but simply NOT user-friendly, and staff that said in effect: 'it's your problem.'

  Disliked: Annexe room that required long march through tricky walkways, two elevators, got lost routinely...wifi required regular re-entry...no light to read in bed..room very hot, thermostat wrong....and patio had you looking at derelict, overgrown worksite next door (picture below)...shower hose broken.... my favourite was asking for no music in gym, so i could hear work messages...i was told there was no music, even as it played loud and clear....like so much else, the message from staff was: 'it's your fault.'

  Liked: Location is good

  Disliked: We encountered too many issues that were not taken care of by the staff. We had non functioning wifi, a broken window shade in the bathroom that was not fixed during our 3 night stay, hardly any hot water for the shower. The quality is not up to the level of almost $300 a night. We would not stay here again.

  Best place to stay in Segovia

  Liked: Could not rate higher. Excellent location and staff was great. Room was tremendous and comfortable. The location was great allowing you to to walk to all the sites.

  Beautiful, comfortable hotel

  Liked: We loved the building, the room was nicely appointed and clean. Comfy beds. Old days luxury:).

  Disliked: In room coffee was bad but that’s a minor thing.
