  Great stay, just steps away from the wall! Free parking a 10 min walk away

  Liked: Good location, free parking 5 mins away but able to use drop off zone right outside for bags. Free welcome cocktail. Quality towels and bedlinen. Free tea and coffee in room and water in the fridge

  Disliked: Asked for quiet room but it wasn’t that quiet! Facing road with few local bars opposite although they were quiet overnight.Luckily hotel seemed quiet so not too many banging doors. Very poor internet.

  Charming hotel in spectacular city

  Liked: The hotel building was at one time a small palace owned by the Berganza family. It is therefore rather charmingly idiosyncratic. It is also quite homely compared to modern hotels. Set in a little, quiet back-street, it is close to the formidable Roman aqueduct and the interesting but very touristy old town of Segovia. Our room and bathroom were spacious and the breakfast good. There were a couple of family restaurants across the street, one of which gave us dinner in splendid isolation in the room into which a large wedding party was about to be disgorged from the bar.

  Disliked: The hotel was very much to our liking but Segovia cathedral, which we really wanted to see and was due to be open (and free) on the Sunday morning, was closed for a special event.
