    Average stay

Liked: Located away from the crowds and city center. Really helpful staff. The staff member offered me a room upgrade to compensate for the initial room.

Disliked: 1. The booking photos are misleading. The room I was initially given did not match the photos shown in the listing. It had only one small window and a significant amount of mold. Fortunately, I was able to get an upgrade to a better room. 2. There is no reception. You barely see any people during your stay, which can make the hotel feel a bit spooky. 3. The hotel is not well maintained, and you can see signs of wear and tear throughout the property. 4. If you are sensitive to noise, please note that you can hear traffic from the main road.

Good place for few days, budget value offseason

Liked: Overall nice and clean. I got a small room at the back with no view to the courtyard. Area is nice and walking distance both ot the sea and city center. 10 min from railway station and Mercadona. Breakfast is basic but sufficient. Fresh orange juice is a plus.

Disliked: Walls are thin so you can hear everything from your neighbours. No reception is a bit bothersome whenyou need to call. I guess every guest should be welcomed personally by the host on request like in other types of B&Bs. The are only few rooms in this establishment.

Ticks all then basic boxes in an otherwise expensive town

Liked: Cozy private room, plenty of hot water all in good order. Breakfast was satisfactory with freshly pressed orange juice. Good location for a short stay in Sitges

Disliked: Advance instructions on how to enter would have been nice

The worst accommodation we've ever tried to stay in in 11 years with Booking.com

Liked: Nothing. The owner had messaged us asking what time we would arrive. He replied to us that our proposed arrival time was suitable as someone would be there. When we arrived no one was there to let us into the property. We assume that it was another guest who finally let us into the building. In the building we replied via message to the owner that we had arrived and that his email for us to pay had a price approximately 1.5 times the price quoted when we booked. He said that that was the price and if we had a problem then we had to contact booking.com which we did. Booking.com contacted him and gave him a specific period of time to reply via email that we could stay at the booked price. Booking.com advised us after the agreed time had elapsed that since he had not replied they would find us alternate accommodation which they did. The day after he messaged us saying that we could stay at the booked price. We advised him that we had done as he told us to do and had contacted booking.com and they had found us an alternate property. He then had the audacity to put on our Booking.com page that we had not turned up.

Disliked: The owner would not let us stay at the quoted price but approximately 1.5 times the price at booking. No one to let you into the gated property. Trying to then put the blame on us even though we and now booking.com have copies of his messages..

Great place but we had some hiccups

Liked: Close to beach ( 5 min walk). Nice beds. Clean. Great breakfast. Nice lady at breakfast.

Disliked: After asking about it several times we never had wifi. The signal is not strong enough to reach room C. The other rooms closer to the router had wifi. But we did not get a signal on any of our three iPhones. Also we did not get any explanation where the breakfast room was. We were not welcomed personally. And we had to look for toilet paper. There was none in the bathroom.

    OK hotel, but no staff

Liked: The location is a few minutes walk to the beach and town centre.

Disliked: I stayed here 10 years ago when Antonio lived there ( his hotel and his home). He greeted us, showed us to our room, introduced his staff, showed us the terrace and bar area and explained that guests paid for drinks by putting money in a trust box. He was proud of his business and staff and the hotel reflected this. Simply decorated, but with a feeling of quality and care. The hotel now has different owners/management.. Through WhatsApp messages I understood that there wasn’t a 24 hour reception. At the property, I was instructed to call a number, the gate was unlocked automatically and the person on the phone guided me to my room. No check in ( or check out ) The only information I was given was a taxi number that I asked for. The reception area and my room were fine, clean but not so well decorated or with furnishings to call it “ boutique’. The small terrace would have been pleasant if I could have enjoyed sitting out, but the sofa had been left out in rain and was very dirty. This is not a bad hotel, it is much like any other 3 star hotel in Sitges ( I have stayed in many). It is a shame that it now seems faceless, without an identity. It has lost it’s personality and the care. A ‘boutique’ hotel has style and quality and a good hotel has a caring staff. The staff here maybe had better things to do with their time?.
