Friendly and charming small hotel

Liked: Breakfast was amazing, the hotel has this oldschool charm, the owners are very attentive, the location is great, close by to the train station, groceries, and far enough from the louder bars don by the sea, but is super close by to all you want to see
Disliked: they could invest in beds/ matresses - its a pitty you are on squeaky bed

Fabulous charming place and great location
Liked: Hotel El Xalet is magical! So charming! I love the art Nouveau features, beautiful antiques, and stained glass everywhere! The staff was very friendly and helpful! And the location is perfect, two or three blocks from the beach, many restaurants (my favorite: Cinnamon), lots of shops, galleries, and a delightful art museum.
Disliked: If only it did not require a 9-hour flight!

Liked: Absolutely everything about Hotel El Xalet. Staying in this stunning 19th-century modernist building feels like stepping into a beautiful old villa rather than a regular hotel. The original details — high ceilings, floral stained-glass windows, mosaic floors, antique furniture, and the grand staircase — are pure charm. The location is perfect: just a short walk to the beach, the train station, and the centre of Sitges, yet quiet enough for a peaceful night’s sleep. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable, with a lovely bed. The outdoor pool and garden area were a real highlight, and the staff were incredibly warm, helpful, and attentive throughout our five-night stay.
