  I am disappointed with booking. Com. How can you class this as a hotel

  Liked: Location was very good. Not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties. The only taxi service available is Sitges taxis. A lot of taxis will only pick up from the beach which is 200 metres.

  Disliked: The manager was useless and rude. The air conditioning was on 24/7 as was the extractor fan. Reported it on day 2 to no avail. The lift stopped working. There was nobody to change bedding and towels or general cleaning. We were there for 2 weeks. You would struggle to fry an egg with the equipment on offer. No circular glass in the burnt microwave.

  Liked: Great location. Everything worked. Clean but in need of rejuvenation.

  Disliked: Awful noise from the lift. Seemed like a bit of oil might have made an improvement? Bits missing like a tea towel, a brush. Nothing included like salt, pepper, sugar, cooking oil. Lady at check in seemed quite aggressive. Very bad communication through this app. Most of my messages were ignored.

  Disliked: The fact that we paid a lot of money and it doesn’t include cleaning or towels change.. plus the staff was not very nice when we asked about these stuff.. the guy at the reception was rude!

  Disliked: I was extremely disappointed with this stay and would not recommend this property. One of my biggest concerns is that the photos in the listing did not accurately represent the apartment I was given. The pictures appear to show the first property/location, but I was actually placed in a different property. What I arrived at was not what I reasonably believed I had booked based on the listing. The cleanliness was also well below an acceptable standard. There was garbage and debris, the stove and kitchen area were greasy, and several areas did not appear to have been properly cleaned or prepared between guests. Even basic supplies were inadequate—the soap appeared to have been significantly watered down. I took photographs documenting the condition of the property. More seriously, I was locked out of my room at night and could not get back inside. I repeatedly attempted to contact staff for assistance, but no one answered the phone. Being locked out at night with no staff available to help was completely unacceptable and left me feeling stranded. A property accepting paying guests should have some reliable way of responding to an urgent access problem. The communication throughout the experience made matters worse. When I raised legitimate concerns, I found the responses rude, defensive, and dismissive rather than professional or solution-focused. I would encourage Booking.com to review the message history because the communication speaks for itself. I travel frequently and understand that accommodations vary considerably. I do not expect every property to be luxurious, but I do expect the accommodation I receive to match what was advertised, to be clean and properly prepared, and to have someone available when a guest has an urgent problem.
