Good
Liked: Location
Disliked: No facilities for tea or coffee
Great location next to a lovely walk and some historic buildings
Liked: Location, parking,
Disliked: No fan. I know it's not normally hot so air con. Is a big ask. A fan would be good as you can't really have the windows open being close to the road. According to the locals the temperature was unusually high.
Liked: The building had a lot of character. The bedroom was cozy and it had everything you needed.
Disliked: It was a bit far from the town centre. However, there was a beautiful walk alongside the river the began right outside the property.
We loved staying in Soria, and had visited nearby Numancia ruins. Being near the Duero River was wonderful, and the hote
Liked: It was located near the Duero River, which was beautiful, close to lovely walking paths, and near a reconstructed small Templar cemetery. The little lobby area was beautiful, as was the bed’s headboard and artwork in the room.
Disliked: Since it was located by the river, it was around a mile’s uphill walk into town, which is ok, but I had hoped that there would be something like a cafe or bar near the hotel open, especially for coffee in the morning, but they seemed to have gone out of business. So we got lots of walking in! The biggest problem was that the hotel is unstaffed, and was supposed to send me the codes to enter the hotel and room after we completed the required online check-in process, but they didn’t. So I had to call the night before to try to get it. My Spanish is very bad, and the person didn’t speak English, so it was a very frustrating experience to get our room number and entrance codes.
Nice place. Easy parking
Liked: Staff changed our booking at the last minute. Clean and comfortable
Disliked: The electronic check in process was a real pain
Keypad entry to galley size room in a management absent setting
Liked: Douris T is convenient to a Hermitage ruin, and an attractive walking path along the scenic Duero. Rooms are reasonably clean, and the strong smell of male sweat lingering in the room put my wife in an amorous mood.
Disliked: Better ventilation to disperse that sweaty stench. Also, while the sheets were unstained, they lacked the crisp freshness of newly washed fabric. Absentee management, no lighting in the downstairs entry/lobby, and no deadbolt or chain on the room door left us feeling less than fully safe. Construction on the road directly below our bedroom woke us up early each morning. No "mountain view" and TV in room was the smallest we've seen.
