  Perfect stay on a beautiful island that is lovely after all the day trippers have gone, clean comfortable

  Liked: Cute hotel, ran by friendly staff

  Disliked: Nothing to complain about but could have done with an extra blanket due to me liking sleeping with windows open

  Lovely break, shame about the hotel

  Liked: The island is an idilic getaway especially in the evening when all the day trip people have gone. I can see that the hotel has been well appointed in the past but is clearly in need of a revamp. Location is superb. Staff were friendly.

  Disliked: There were no towels in our room, no main lights worked especially in the bathroom, for one night we put up with it. The room could have been cleaner. Breakfast is very basic. Would not stay again or recommend.

  Wonderful little hotel with great food in too quiet a location

  Liked: Lovely building, staff friendly and food great

  Disliked: The whole island shut down at 6 pm and we weren’t sure we were going to be able to eat at all! It wasn’t made clear we could eat at the hotel and the lights to the dining room didn’t go on until 8.15! We were sitting in the only bar open on the island and could actually see our hotel from there and we about to go and get a takeaway sandwich from the only other facility open which was a fast food store. Perhaps the hotel should make that more clear. The meal turned out to be the best of our holiday! The island itself although lovely was a bit shabby and could do with a bit of a clean up of the beaches and lanes!

  Fit for purpose

  Liked: In general hotel is comfortable and they let us to drop the bags in the room early. Breakfast was good for a hotel in Tabarca

  Disliked: The floor did not seem cleaned enough and one of the towels was stained. We did not have hot water at first because someone before has switched the boiler off and was not checked although not a major problem.

  Liked: The location was amazing for a beautiful stay on the Island. Comfortable and all you needed for one night away.

  Disliked: Passport identification needed at check in. This was more of a communication issue with booking.com as it was not obvious that this was the rules and was needed.
