Exceptional
Lovely place to use as a home base to see Tarragona and surrounding areas
Liked: Location was very central to everything we wanted to see, even parking was close by
Disliked: Smoke in the hallway, but that is out of the host’s control
A wonderful apartment and helpful host
Liked: The beds are so comfortable. The apartment has automatic shutters and air conditioning so you can have a wonderful sleep in peace. It is a quiet area not far from the bus and train stations, the beach and many shops and restaurants. The historical district is only about 20 minutes away. Antonio the host was so helpful and regularly checked that we were ok. I made a mistake with our transport and he talked me through what to do sending useful photos of where to get the bus as well as bus timetables. He also drew our attention to a firework display that was happening during our stay. You can borrow beach towels and umbrella and cold bag. It really was so well thought out.
Disliked: Nothing. It was perfect for us and had everything we wanted.
Perfect spot for a lovely stay in this unique city
Liked: This is the perfect spot for discovering Tarragona! A short walk from the bus station ( not the train station) and close to all the restaurants and shops including the grocery store ( closed on Sunday). The host was very helpful and suggested a great Catalan buffet restaurant to check out this unique cuisine. I would highly recommend this apartment for a couple or a small family.
Disliked: It was perfect. Get ready to climb some steep hills in the city though and wear a comfortable pair of shoes.
I highly recommend this apartment if you plan on staying in Tarragona
Liked: Everything was clean and modern. I liked the artwork that highlighted Tarragona. The bed was very comfortable with memory foam pillows. There was a washing machine and laundry pods for the ability to do laundry, which was very helpful towards the end of a trip. Antoni, the host, was extremely helpful and responsive to any questions.
Disliked: Nothing really. The only thing I would suggest would be maybe to provide a small container of olive oil and salt and pepper so if one picks up something to cook, there is seasonings. We were able to make breakfast and pack lunches while there.
Well equipped, modern and very comfortable
Liked: Very clean and modern, good use of space. Host (and his son) was exceptional, providing lots of information about the city and was passionate about his home. Discovered a roof top terrace that we would not have known about without his recommendation.
Disliked: Nothing.
Wonderful stay with an incredibly friendly host, a well-equipped and clean flat in a perfect location—close to transport
Liked: Unbelievable friendly host! Clean flat with all necessary tools, climate control etc. We were traveling especially to visit Port Aventura with our child, was very easy to reach the park with the train from Tarragona Station that near by the flat (10 min walk) Supermarket Bonarea just behind the corner. Walking to the center max. 10 min. We were at the seaside, and there were many beaches one after another and easy to reach them with a bus that 8 min walk from the flat.
Disliked: Everything was perfect
