A very nice stay in a good apartment in the center of Tarragona
Liked: Very good location, good and easy check in and out. Well equiped apartment. Bright apartment with a bathroom and a separate shower.
Disliked: It’s a clim to the third floor. Balcony and terras are small.
Falsely advertised dirty, smelly apartment, with rude and dishonest host
Liked: The location. Close to everythingho
Disliked: Everything but the location. The apartment is on the 3rd floor and there is no lift. Not suitable for people with heavy suitcases or accessibility issues. The apartment smells of a damp dog, it had a broken shower that floods everywhere, there were long dark hairs in the shower drains and on the bed. The entire apartment needs a deep clean. It has also been falsely advertised on here. This apartment does not have a fitness centre or wellness centre or additional bathroom on the website like it says it does. The “fitness centre” is a small corner of the room with a few yoga mats. The owner later explained that the wellness centre is somewhere else- a few blocks away. And there is no additional bathroom. There is a shower room and a separate toilet. Above all, what I didn’t like most was the rudeness of the host. My friend (the second guest) had messaged the host on whatsapp for help and the host Leilana was really rude to her. The host also messaged me on booking.com to say that my friend had harassed her and we had disrespected the apartment by putting shoes on the bed but that was not true at all. We never put shoes on the bed as thats not what we do! She also lied and said we didn’t pay her when payment was made directly via booking.com and as requested we left 2.50€ in cash on the table. On top of a dirty, smelly apartment, this host is a liar. She lied about the facilities and she lied about the payments and our stay at the hotel.

Liked: location is great, heart of old PartaAlta. In general apartment was clean, i would say. Cleaner lady let me in, hostess allowed to check in much earlier than supposed. thanks for that.
Disliked: Cleaner lady told me to watch water pooring from the shower. I did not understand it till i took a shoer in the morning. Drainage in the shower and basin did not work, and seems host knows that. So when you take a shower you enjoy standing in soup of water, shampoo and soap. More than that, this water is coming out of shower and out of bathroom to the wooden floor. So i had to build a dam when i went to shower. pictures attached. in the basin i had also had broth of tooth paste, soap and water that would not drain. no very convenient to have your food, there is like a small bar tender in the kitchen, not very convenoent but it is on the picture, so i cant blame them. I also missed there is no TV. You may not need it, but i normally like to watch local TV or youtube on large screen
