Liked: Location and facility. Very clean.
Disliked: Communication about check-in wasn’t clear and the host did not speak English. Rang a few times but no response. We needed help with the cooker but the Help was not coming promptly.
Great apartment, location, and hosts
Liked: Size and cleanliness of the apartment. The location is easy walking distance to the main attractions. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Even delivered a new mattress during our stay.
The perfect place for a Toledo stay
Liked: The apartment is unique and very comfortable. Its location, almost next to the cathedral, is perfect for exploring Toledo (the glass floor in the kitchen gives a glimpse of what once was a tunnel from the cathedral. The original ceiling in the living room is amazing). Elena is a great host!
Disliked: Nothing
Liked: Very characterful, great place to explore Toledo from, great local dining suggestions from hosts.
Disliked: We chose this place for a one-night stay on our return trip from Barcelona to Lisbon. We arrived very late at night. When we entered the bathroom, we heard a buzzing sound coming from the wooden columns in the ceiling. When I contacted the landlord via text, he said the last person staying had also mentioned the same noise, that it might be termites, and that he was working on it. If there's such a problem, I don't understand why they're renting without addressing it. My 5-year-old son is afraid of the noise, so I tried to calm him down for a long time. Unfortunately, because we arrived so late at night, we couldn't leave and go anywhere else. My wife couldn't sleep until we left. Unfortunately, we had a nightmare. I wish the landlord would just rent out his place after resolving the issue and stop ruining people's vacations and mental health. I hope none of those bugs came with us.
