Liked: Great location, staying in an historic building

Nice place to stay if you want to be in central Toledo
Liked: Location in the old town, nice view from the apartment, great value for money
Disliked: Shower and toilets are too “in the open”, no space to put toiletry

Disliked: The manager was terrible. When I first came in, He was standing by the door. He didn’t want to help me with my two luggages. Told him I need help and he did do very reluctantly. Thereafter, he was very Upset and we had a shouting match. He blamed me for not responding to his email. I told him I didn’t get his direct email but I got the email from booking.com in which I replied. He still didn’t believe me. This is at 9:30 pm and my wife and I were so tired. Still he didn’t want to bring us to the room until we complete the online check in downstairs with a dim light.He made me complete the online check in downstairs presumably as a punishment for not answering his email. He made me do it on my own tablet not his computer. If he had some iota of compassion, he would have brought us to our room and complete the onl

Liked: Nice place in a great location.
Disliked: We were only staying for one night but the air conditioning failed at around 2 or 3 in the morning. There was a heat wave at the time and this resulted in a terrible nights sleep. When I informed the owner at around 8am he seemed annoyed that I hadn’t told him immediately. At no point was there an apology or anything approaching a professional response. I tried to explain that that calling the owner isn’t your first thought when your sleep is disrupted but this didn’t seem to pacify him - after a couple more minutes of him becoming increasingly agitated I had to ask him to leave and direct him to the door.
