Fabulous
Great Stay
Liked: central location, authentic building, first class instructions for access to both the car parking and the property. Car parking is suitable for a large car which is helpful!
Perfect place to stay in Toledo
Liked: It was located close to the Cathedral. The apartment was spacious and comfortable.
Liked: Apartment located in the heart of the old town, it had a very beautiful courtyard. The apartment was tidy, had a capsule coffee maker and coffee, sugar.
Disliked: However, there are some drawbacks: 1. Parking, it is located in the old town and in not the same location as the apartment, and the owner didn't provide the exact address of the parking, only the video on how to get there, which was difficult to understand for non-locals. We got lucky that we found a local guy who helped to interpret the video and actually sat in our car and helped to find the exact location. Considering the narrowness of the streets it was very stressful to get lost in Toledo old town by car. Parking instructions should be much more clear. 2. Shower pressure is just too low, it takes forever to get the shower for 4 people. 3. No vine glass, if the apartment accommodates 4 persons, it should be at least 4 same size glasses. Owners should look more often in the cupboard, to check how much glassware is remaining. 4. The apartment was a bit dark. Considering its location i think it is normal. 5. The beds mattresses were quite soft.
Exceptional
Liked: We liked the location. The apartment is very clean and close to everything.
Disliked: We didn't like how the parking space is far from the apartment.
Wouldn’t stay here again because of difficulty getting luggage to apartment
Liked: The bed and pillows were soft. It was clean. It was close to Alcázar, cathedral and restaurants.
Disliked: We had to park away from the apartment and drag our luggage over rough cobbled streets that involved a total of 47 steps up to. It was really strenuous and would have been impossible for anyone over 55 and not in good shape. Hiding a key under a rock near the parking garage was wierd. Communication with host was a challenge. All our other hosts messaged us through Booking.com but this host didn’t want to. Wouldn’t stay here again because of difficulty getting luggage to apartment.
