Good
Too expensive for the experience
Liked: When I arrived and called them I got the code to get in.
Disliked: No personell, No atmosphere, No wifi, The boiler is blocking the bathroom door.
Liked: clean
Disliked: shower head was floppy in the holder, hard to stand under it, no rail to hold to get into or out of the bath tub, and floor is slippery
Liked: Central to everything.
Disliked: Checking in procedure, I was asked for a check time, time stated, then was asked to message 30 mins before arriving AFTER I had already given a time. Then was kept waiting out in the excessive heat for over 20 mins
Satisfying
Liked: Sagrario, our host, was exceptionally welcoming. The communal areas are tastefully adorned. Its location is remarkably central. The beds provided a comfortable experience, being neither excessively firm nor overly yielding, and the pillows were quite satisfactory. Considering the price, it offers excellent value for a stay.
Disliked: The WiFi in my room didn't work. We missed having a small fridge. The keyring is huge, and you need the key to lock the room door.
Liked: The photos on Booking.com don't do justice to the Hostal's skills: - Efficient wall-mounted A/C (the rooms are very cold during this time of the year). - Excellent flat-screen cable TV. - Friendly owner. Simple, clean Hostal with an elevator and a bar/restaurant for breakfast (closed). View of the alley and next to two other Hostal.
