  Did the job, restful nights sleep with clean room & friendly staff

  Stay twice a year and enjoy the friendly atmosphere

  Liked: Staff very friendly and helpful

  Disliked: Ceiling fan only had one speed…..slow. Evening meal was in the price of the room so was not happy to be hit with supplements on nearly every choice.

  A nice hotel with great views and friendly stuff but needs renovation

  Liked: The hotel is located next to golf course and we had a great view from our balcony over the golf course. The buffet breakfast is really nice and goes on until 11am. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool was great and also heated

  Disliked: The whole hotel looks tired and desperately needs redecorating. There was no door on the toilet.

  Slightly faded but with a little redecorating would be back to 5*

  Liked: It was relaxing and charming and obviously is well used by local golfers, so the bar was quite lively on a weekday afternoon. I liked that there was a strip of restaurants within walking distance with a good choice of styles.

  Disliked: A few little niggles, the A/C didn’t work when we arrived and looking at the vent it was in need of a good clean… they did fix the problem for us (though not cleaning the vent) and the a/c worked when we returned to our room in the evening. The hotel looks magnificent but on closer inspection needs a bit of renovation and a revamp in places. Also there was no lifeguard so the main outdoor pool was closed for use and they would not give out pool towels to use on the loungers. The smaller indoor pool had no lifeguard but apparently was ok to use, it was lovely and warm.
