Disliked: A bit of a walk to find a restaurant as the one on site was closed.
A great place to stay when traveling south
Liked: Great location, traditional style, friendly staff, pool, parking.
Disliked: A pity the restaurant is no longer in operation. But a short walk into town offers options.
We had an enjoyable one night stay and an excellent meal
Liked: We received a warm welcome on arrival and recieved pleasant service. We enjoyed early evening drinks in the hotel cafeteria where we also had our breakfast in the morning. We had a very enjoyable eveing meal in the restaurant connected to the hotel and were served by the owner, also the chef, who was very friendly and amenable. We would certainly go back again.
Disliked: The restaurant is not part of the hotel and is separately owned. It should be noted that it is normally only open in the evening on Saturday. Therefore, a separate booking with the restaurant is necessary in order to secure an evening meal on days other than Saturday.
