  Couldn't access property

  Disliked: Tried to cancel reservation but never got a reply and then never received any check in details. Unable to receive a response from host or booking.com so could not get access. Had to book alternative accommodation. Still trying to get a refund!

  Liked: nice apartment but only good for staying there in warm weather! nice hosts, responsive, but not honest about the electricity and heating issues.

  Disliked: the apartment was extremely cold!!! we booked this place several weeks in advance, so the owners had notice, when we showed up, the heating had only just been turned on and it was freezing in the apartment (december). we have a small baby, so had a thermometer with us and it was ~12C in the house when we got there. we cranked the heat because of our baby to warm up the place and this tripped the electricity. when we talked to the owners they said we couldn't turn the heating on more than 23C otherwise this would trip the electricity. but 23C on the heating meant only about 16C in the rooms because the temperature control is at ceiling height and only in the living room, so it would stop heating too early. in the rooms there are radiators that are very inefficient and don't heat, in the kitchen its broken, and none in the bathroom. even when the temperature was set to 23C, if we then tried to boil the kettle or do anything else, this would still trip the electricity. a few times at night the electricity tripped when the temp was set to 23C and we weren't doing anything in addition. in the end the rooms were too cold (we didn't have the right clothing for our baby to sleep in those temperatures, we assumed apartment would be ~20C), so we had to move a mattress to the floor of the living room and shut the door to keep the heat in and sleep on the floor because the rooms were too cold. we had to sleep on a mattress on the floor of the living room the entire stay. which is a bit of a shame when there are 3 bedrooms and we were just a couple with a baby. we basically spent our whole stay hiding in the living room and putting on a winter jacket and shoes if we wanted to go to the kitchen or bathroom. not acceptable, especially with a baby, to hide details about failures in electricity and lack of heating in the middle of winter.

  Comfortable appartement with nice views

  Liked: Apartamento El oso is a welcoming place located in the central area of Villena, on a hill with nice panoramic views over the city. It is spatious, clean and well equipped. The bed in the matrimonial bedroom is comfortable, I did not test the other sleeping places. In one of the smaller rooms there is a large desk with a big window in front that made a perfect working environment for me. The hosts are very kind and reactive.

  Disliked: The building does not have an elevator, which might be inconvenient for impaired people or when having heavy luggage. However, I knew this before booking and in my case the beautiful views compensated the effort and I was very happy to be on the last floor. The guidance for check-in is not very clear, but the owners were very responsive and kind so I got in very quickly and smoothly. The living room is towards a high traffic upper road so it might be a bit noisy at times, but as a noise sensitive person I had no problems to sleep well in the bedroom.

  modern apartment. want for nothing

  Liked: very modern apartment and you want for nothing.

  Disliked: lack of information and communication on arrival.. NO meet and greet. all done by guess work and WhatsApp. waited outside the building untill someone came out then managed to get in.no number on the apartment door which we found on the on the top floor. 63 steps. 7 flights suggest some information in the apartment for the guests.

  Superb

  Liked: It has full facilities, tools, clean products in the kitchen and also the condiments, which is very convenient for the visitors to cook, clean and wash the clothes etc.

  Disliked: It is located at the fourth floor and will really have problem with big luggages if you don’t used to have exercise and don’t used to climb the stairs. There is an air conditioner in living room and there are only fans in the bedrooms. It will be quite hot in the summer, specially the bedroom and kitchen that are far from the living room. The fan cannot help to cool the room in such a hot summer. You can open the window to have some fresh air but don’t comfortable to sleep when leaving the window opened because of outside watching or light.
