  Liked: Our lady host was really friendly, spoke perfect English and gave us lots of information. She also encouraged us to do the coastal walk, taking in the incredible Flysch cliffs, instead of the inland camino. It was amazing. Thanks.

  Unbeatable stay (like being at home)

  Liked: The apartment is new and spacious, tastefully decorated, just like in the photos. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances suitable for a few days' stay (including a dishwasher). Also available dish soap, a sponge, and a dishcloth, which I think is a nice touch since these items are becoming increasingly rare. There's a large parking space for our car, which is a bit bulky. It's located just steps from the center of Zumaia, with everything you need nearby: supermarkets, bars, restaurants, a pharmacy, a bakery, ATMs, etc. It's very easy to get to the highway to visit the towns and cities in the area. Our host, Nekane, was very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. She was available throughout our stay and explained everything very well. Since it was winter, we couldn't enjoy the huge, sunny terrace. In short, we felt right at home.

  Disliked: Everything has been perfect. As an improvement, it would be helpful to install hooks for hanging clothes or towels in the bathrooms. It would also be useful to put hooks in the bedrooms, as the wardrobes don't allow for hanging long items like coats and trench coats on hangers.

  Worth the money, nice host

  Liked: Very good location close to shop and resto. Very attractive host and extremely clean

  Liked: The location of the property was great. The apartment was new and well Maintained.

  Disliked: No Aircon - was a little hot. Admittedly it was a heat wave.

  An apartment advertised as having 5 beds but it only had 4!

  Liked: The location of the apartment was good. It was easy to walk to the centre of the town and also to get to the fleisch.

  Disliked: We were 5 members of a walking group and had booked an apartment with 5 beds. The apartment only had 4 beds. There was a bed settee but the host refused to supply bed linen for this. As a result we had to book a hotel room for one of the group. Despite written confirmation from Booking.com that the apartment had 5 beds, the host refused to refund the additional cost we incurred. In addition, there was a small dining table with 4 chairs (not 5) and a light switch hanging off the wall in the hallway. We were very disappointed especially as the host could have resolved the issue simply by providing bedding for the sofa bed. We would not recommend this place.
