Cookie policy
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. This page explains which ones wabihotel.com uses and why, in accordance with article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI) and the cookie guidance of the Spanish Data Protection Agency. The same applies to other ways of storing data in the browser, such as local storage. This is a translation for information purposes; if there is any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
In short
wabihotel.com uses Google Analytics analytics cookies only if you accept them in the notice shown when you arrive. If you reject them or make no choice, no Google service is loaded. We do not use advertising or social media cookies. We also store your cookie choice, a preference you choose (the currency) and a technical note when a page fails to load: these do not need consent because they are needed to provide the service you ask for.

Analytics cookies (only if you accept them)
If you click «Accept», the website loads Google Tag Manager and, through it, Google Analytics 4, from Google Ireland Limited. We use them to count visits and see which pages are viewed, from what type of device and which buttons are clicked (for example «See prices» or the language switcher), so we can improve the website. The data is statistical: we do not use it for advertising or to identify you, and we share nothing with Google for ads (advertising consent always stays denied). Google may process this data in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Google Tag Manager on its own does not set cookies: it is the tool that loads Google Analytics. More information on Google's cookie page.
How to change your choice
You can accept or withdraw your consent at any time from the «Cookie settings» link at the bottom of every page , which shows the notice again. If you reject them after accepting, we stop loading Google Analytics and delete its cookies. Your choice is kept for one year; after that we ask you again.
Third-party content on our pages
Destination and free walking tour pages show a list of activities from Civitatis. It is loaded from civitatis.com when you reach that part of the page. In our tests it sets no cookies, but it does store a New Relic session identifier (NRBA_SESSION) in the browser, the service Civitatis uses to measure the performance of its list. It is controlled by Civitatis, under its own cookie policy. If you click an activity, you go to civitatis.com, which uses its own cookies.
Links to Google Maps only take you to Google if you click them; the website does not load maps or Google content by itself.
The booking platform
When you check prices or book, you go to book.wabihotel.com, the booking platform operated by Nuitee (LiteAPI). That platform uses its own cookies to work (session, language and preferences) and to measure its use, and manages them under its own cookie policy, which you will find there.
How to delete or block cookies
You can also view, delete or block cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge…). If you block the moneda cookie, the website works the same but always shows prices in euros; if you delete wabi_consent, we will ask you about analytics cookies again.
