Exceptional
Wonderfull stay. Highly reccomended
Liked: Beautiful chateau, with great graden and forest, the room is very large and comfortable, great breakfast, the location is great and close to the center of Ambiose. The owner is very friendly, patient, and a good host, he gave us a lot of tips for our trip, and was very helpful. We highly reccomend this place!
Chateau stay in Amboise was the best
Liked: The ambience was amazing the size of the rooms generous, service impeccable. Ali was so very helpful to us with his directions, booking dinner and generally a friendly greeting and noting was too much trouble.
Disliked: Just a little difficult to get to with the road closures but we got there.
Amazing find. Will come back
Liked: Beautiful. Well appointed rooms with safe, mini bar and tea / cofffee facilities. Wonderful grounds. Quiet. Family friendly. Dog friendly. Excellent value for money
Special and unique stay
Liked: Wonderful property in a semi-private area north of Amboise. You definitely get the feeling of living in a castle; while they offer a nice breakfast, be prepared to head out for dinner (or to the local SuperMarche, which is close). We loved our large, historic room with modern amenities and floor to ceiling windows which made for a great view / sleeping. A special treat for me was exploring this very unique property, including the pool which we had mostly to ourselves.
Disliked: I don’t have any complaints but the parking area is limited. We recommend traveling there in a medium-size car for flexibility when entering late at night or early in the morning.
Liked: Amazing location, atmosphere in the mansion, garden!!!
Disliked: The breakfast may be a little bit more rich
