  bike friendly with lovely staff!

  Liked: For bikers its a perfect set up! Easy secure storage. the front desk people were all lovely and helpful. location is a very short walk to the quant downtown.

  Disliked: nothing really. great value will stay again.

  Disliked: Noisy aircon if on or if not traffic noise. Beams in bathroom and bedroom to bump into

  For me, I am not sure if the benefits outweigh the negatives

  Liked: Clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. A good breakfast and the safe was friendly.

  Disliked: Parking was not available not was there a plan to educate the guests on how to use local parking. I expect I got a couple of parking tickets because of this problem. Toilet seat did not fit the toilet.

  First class hotel

  Liked: Almost everything, we first stayed here over 30 years ago and very recently two separate nights on our three week holiday.The young lady on check in on our days of arrival was very good very helpful.If I was you I would make sure you book a car park at the hotel I think they have about 10 places and they fill up fast.Anyway our room which was booked as a small room had fantastic aircon, the shower was first class as was the bed.The location is right there in the centre very close to everything.I can highly recommend this hotel.

  Pleasant, no-frills hotel in the heart of Amboise

  Liked: Very central location and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable, although some are a bit small. The air conditioning worked very well which was a relief in the heat! The parking was also convenient and cost-effective.

  Disliked: There’s no lift, so if you are travelling with a lot of luggage be prepared to carry it up and down the stairs. At breakfast, the cutlery was often dirty and needed a proper scrub.

  Liked: Good location, short walk to the town's attractions, restaurants & bars. Breakfast was also good & had a variety of options. Staff were also very pleasant & helpful.
