  We enjoyed our stay very much

  Liked: The location is great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel easy to get to by tram from the train station.

  Disliked: The room was a little dark and tight on space but the bed was great.

  Great location

  Liked: Super location! Great design with attention on every detail.

  Disliked: It smells bad and it is not very clean! The bed linen needs a better attention and some repeated washing and whitening. I asked for a second blanket and they gaved me one which was smelly and not clean.

  Overall, a very pleasant, welcoming and excellently-located hotel

  Liked: This is an extremely well-located hotel, close to tram lines (including the direct line to Bordeaux Airport. For all that it is central, my room was also blissfully quiet, and the bed, and pillows in particular, were very comfortable. The Reception staff were very pleasant and welcoming, and helpful with advice and recommendations. The Breakfast buffet was also varied, plentiful and delicious.

  Disliked: For a hotel that attracts overseas tourists, I was surprised that the television in my room did not offer an English-language news channel. Unfortunately, it only offered various French news and entertainment channels (and one U.S. channel that was solely business-focussed). My French is not up to being able to follow a French news or current affairs channel. After a few days, this got increasingly frustrating - as did the silence of my room - and I believe a hotel at this level should offer either Sky News or BBC News 24 as part of its offering.

  I would live here if I could

  Liked: The reception staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. The hotel, as well as my room, were both cozy and charming. It’s in a great neighborhood. I liked it so much that I stayed an extra night. It reminded me of what hotels would like in Paris, 50 years ago.

  Disliked: There’s nothing I didn’t like.
