Fabulous
Pricey, but I will return on my next visit
Liked: Its proximity to the citadel. The views from my terrace. The attitude and helpful nature of the majority of the staff.
Disliked: The decor in my room was rather dated.
Liked: Everything was just 1st class from start to finish. Beautiful suite. Lovely food for breakfast and the signature evening meal menu. Staff so friendly and helpful. 100% recommend to all.
A wonderful hotel to relax in an elegant medieval atmosphere
Liked: The best hotel within the walled city of Carcassonne. It is stylish, romantically medieval but with all modern facilities. The staff were kind and keen to satisfy requests. Our room was spacious, with a large and elegant bathroom, a closet and a separate closet for the WC. Two windows overlooked a nice garden.
Disliked: Perhaps the breakfast could have included a wider variety of breads.
A few days of luxury in one of the most stunning areas
Liked: The property is stunning and so very well located inside the walls. Very peaceful in the midst of a busy area.
Luxury within the historic fortress
Liked: What can you say about a hotel inside the historic city, with views of the towers from the bedroom and bathroom windows - fantastic place, full of history and luxury.
Disliked: Plastic shower tub was very narrow and difficult to use safely without fear of slipping and falling, and a mis-matched toilet lid kept trying to close while sitting on the toilet - very strange!
Liked: Great food and drinks.
Disliked: Bathtub is hard to stand up in because of the oddly shaped bottom.
