Very good
Most enjoyable. We travelled by train from Kent for a family wedding/short holiday
Liked: Good & varied choices for breakfast Conveniently located for trains,buses,& town centre. Cleanliness of premises. The utmost care & extreme consideration shown to us when we were so late in arriving due to disruption & cancellation of our train connections. The high calibre, friendly& obliging kind staff & clientele. We thoroughly enjoyed our,all too brief,stay in Chinon@your hotel. It was a most tranquil & pleasantly restorative experience for us & one we would,very much,like to repeat sometime in the future. Thank you so much.
Disliked: A retractable insect screen on the window would have been a useful enhancement. Particularly @ night when the window had to be open.
Liked: Great for our one night stop over, staff were friendly and parking on site. An easy walk into the absolutely beautiful town of Chinon.

A good value hotel
Liked: Belle Epoque is always such good value for money. It is a very clean, no frills hotel. The family run staff are extremely friendly and the lady in charge speaks excellent English. It has very secure parking, and is a 20 minute stroll to all the restaurants. Located next to the railway station, ideal for train journeys to Tours. Breakfast is worth having and good value. It is a good stop over for journeys further south to the Dordogne

Liked: What's not to like? Secure parking, nice self serve breakfast, friendly English speaking staff, next to train station, easy walk to town restaurants, and good value for money.
Disliked: If I was being picky. Wi-Fi is a bit hit and miss
Liked: Very welcoming and flexible hosts, who were happy to communicate in English (and did so very well) Room was clean and bed comfortable and the price very reasonable. Secure parking for my motorcycle was an added and welcome perk of this hotel.
Disliked: No faults, people who comment about little imperfections should consider the price and be more reasonable
