  Bales in lyon at Riot time!!!

  Liked: We had a pleasant stay in campanile prime Lyon. it is in a very good postion just 100 metres from train tram and metro station the room was very good and of a large size breakfast was very good with a good choice of hot and cold food ( but ratatoulie for breakfast and chicken in herbs ) the bar was pleasant with a good range of drinks there are many resturants and bars very close by it is in the student quarter and the area was very busy at fri and sat night we would stay again if back in lyon and we do reccomend

  Disliked: heating in room was set at max 21 and we felt a liitle cold both room reception and bar had subdued lighting we would have liked all brighter

  Liked: The location, close to gare perrache and we'll situated on the presqu'ile.

  Disliked: Size of the room. It felt really small for 2. The flush wasn't working properly.

  Extremely nice place to stay with a great breakfast and cafes close by for dinner

  Liked: The room was very nice sized and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a large selection of breads and pastries. My husband loved the scrambled eggs. Nice fruit bowl and yogurt. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We opted for early check-in and they gave us late check-out also which was very nice as we needed the rest. It was totally inadvertent on my part, but the hotel turned out to be very close to our river boat which made it easy to get to our next stop.

  Disliked: The shower safety grab bar was not anywhere close to where it was needed. A design mistake. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

  Dark room, needs more lighting since the small window did not bring enough natural light. The hallways were also dark. T

  Liked: Decent hotel, near the metro/train station, lots of restaurants within walking distance

  Disliked: Our unit was very dark, needs more lighting since the small window faced a small courtyard. The shower was extremely small as well and very uncomfortable.

  NO AIRCONDITIONING

  Liked: The hotel does not have air-conditioning if they don't want to turn it on. The staff did let me borrow a fan, which was very helpful.

  Disliked: The air-conditioning only works if the Hotel wants to turn it on. Despite what the website says, you cannot control the air-conditioning from your room if they don't want turn it on for the building.

  A reasonable priced lively hotel in central Lyon

  Liked: Great spot to access the old town by foot and very helpful staff. There was a market down the road when we arrived. The room was quiet and comfy. We just had a comfortable night here to head home from a month in Europe so it was a great spot to visit a fabulous Bouchon and enjoy an evening out in Lyon and fill the last bit of space in our bags with some shopping! We felt very safe wandering home at night from dinner and a few drinks back to the hotel.

  Disliked: Only downside was that I booked a room with the balcony over not having a balcony and it was covered in scaffolding blocking use and the view. A bit disappointed BUT it was raining anyway, and these things happen when you do good maintenance of your property.!
