Liked: Location was hard to beat. Staff were kind and room was pleasant.

Disliked: Thin walls and loud guests/housekeeping woke me up multiple times very early in the morning. Otherwise no issues at all.

Fantastic location and value for a charming historic hotel with really cool elevator!

Liked: The building was very charming and historic. The rooms were adequately updated with everything we needed. The pillows and comforters were very good. The building is old, but that added to the experience for me. The elevator is historic and small, but fun to ride and the stairs are wide and easy. My son had fun racing up the stairs while my daughter watched from the elevators glass door. The rooms we had were next to each other so communicating with the large family was easy. The windows opened to a view of the city which I loved. The street out front was quiet and had lots of walking traffic during the day. Location was awesome and I wish we had more time to walk from the hotel around the city. The staff was so friendly and accommodating and it's a family run hotel. It was fun chatting with the owner in the morning and his recommendation for breakfast bakery was perfect and only a 1 minute walk around the corner. Definitively a great value for the money and would recommend to others. The staff is so sweet, when we checked out my mom left something in the bathroom of her room and the cleaning lady ran out after us in the street to return it. Very nice people there.

Disliked: I liked it all. I enjoy historic, family owned businesses with charm and character.

    Fantastic stay and great location

Liked: Great staff and very accommodating! We were able to check in a little earlier, which was a huge help as I had a show coming up and needed time to get ready for my performance. We were also given an upgraded room, which was super cute! The location was perfect too. Just three walking min from the station Ampere and just super central. And I absolutely loved the lift — it’s the cutest lift I’ve ever seen! 🥰 Make sure to look up! 😉

    Disliked: Nothing

    City Hotel with character

Liked: Handy location, helpful staff, spacious room with good, if basic, facilities. To me it's a typical city hotel and a such has character. Room was very clean. Adequate French continental breakfast of bread, jam, croissant, yoghurt, apple puree and hot drink.

Disliked: We had en suite facilities with separate shower and toilet. However the toilet cabin was so tiny my husband could hardly shut the door! The lift is tiny. There is a fair amount of street noise from a busy bar on the corner, calmed down after midnight. (Thursday late October!) The breakfast area is small and quite dark, not as clean as the rooms (cobwebs etc)
