    Stay before cruise

Liked: Location. Very near river cruise boat dock. Also a short walk to city center and old town.

Disliked: Room is quite sparse. Bathroom was remodeled but there is no TP holder nor is there a place in shower for soap or shampoo.

If you want a Bed for the night then it’s ok

    Liked: Location, price, service

Disliked: Building site looks like some renovations occurring Some of our group had upgraded rooms some didn’t … my room needed some updating. Breakfast options were poor for €10. I only had coffee as they was no other options. The coffee was poor so went to bakers opposite

Good value option near transport with a comfy bed

Liked: Handy location near the T1 tram stop, easy to reach from the big train stations. Very comfortable beds, pleasant view from the small balcony, nice breakfast. The lift worked and there was a certain charm to the period features of the building. The shutters on the windows were both pretty and effective, while fans helped with the warm temperatures.

Disliked: Some of the hotel seems to be half way through a renovation and looks like a building site. This didn't bother us though. The carpet is old and worn and the room a bit too hot. There was no conditioner in the showers for hair washing, which was annoying.

Liked: Good location, near metro and bus. Lidl store across from the hotel.

Disliked: The matress was too small for the base of the bed. It was very hot and we had to sleep with the windows open, but there was a lot of mosquitos. No netting on windows..

    Centrally located hotel

Liked: Stayed 3 nights in the hotel. Hotel is centrally located. If you like walking, it is at a 2,2 km from the train station Gare Part Dieu, and it is at walking distance from most of the attractions in Lyon. From the hotel we walked to the Basilique ND de Fourvière, the roman theater en the Lugdunum Museum, but we walked to Croix-Rousse and the mural painting Le Mur des Canuts too, and everything between. Small, but clean, basic room. Our room was quiet. Friendly reception. Supermarket in front of the hotel. A lot of shops, bakery... in the street. Breakfast buffet is standard continental, so no hot dishes, but enough to start the day. Price is OK for the quality. We felt safe during the day, but should not leave the hotel in the night.
