I arrived with great enthusiasm and left disappointed

Disliked: I booked a room with a view of the river, but I was given one overlooking the garage. When I spoke to the staff at the reception, I was told that the photos I had seen—on the basis of which I made the booking—were just photos, and that they didn't necessarily reflect what the room should actually look like.

Never stay here if you're expecting luxury

Disliked: The 'Coffee maker' included in the room was just an old kettle and two instant coffee sachets The room was dusty and old fashioned Elevators took forever to arrive (sometimes 5 minutes) Breakfast staff seemed to be all over the place, there was no order to it all.

  Relaxing break highly recommend

Liked: Fantastic spa, bar and restaurant. All the staff very friendly and helpful.

Disliked: Pillows could be a little more comfortable but this is a minor comment. Restaurant was good, but menu/specials could update more if staying a couple of days. Very minor comments as it was all good.

Liked: The receptions/bar area were welcoming and very clean, the spa had great facilities.

Disliked: It was a little dated in places.

Liked: The pool and spa is really good. So is the location of the hotel and the confort of the room. Definitely a good choice.

Disliked: The gentleman at the reception desk when we were checking out was extremely rude. He made it very clear that he hated his job. Okay, we are in France and we are not expecting particularly warm or friendly service, but there is no need to be rude.
