  Excellent staff, quiet and comfortable room

  Liked: The bread for a 'tartine' was not so fresh, and there was no protective cloth/napkin to allow people to cut the loaf of bread.

  Disliked: I stay only at Hotel Ibis, but the breakfast was more sub-standard.

  Liked: Despite being partially under renovation (the bar and several floors were closed and we were among the very few guests), our room was great, fully equipped and clean. The price was excellent, if I've a car you can easily visit the city centre.

  Disliked: I don't know how it will be after the renovation, but it looks promising.

  Liked: Very helpful staff. Great cleaning staff. Excellent location for the metro into Lyon. Very comfortable bed.

  Disliked: A choice of pillow would be nice - flatter or higher. Tinned fruit salad at breakfast, but to be fair, there was fresh fruit available as an alternative.
