Liked: MHL was exactly what we wanted for our first international, family trip. The entrance to the room was private and the room more like an Air BnB with the perk of cleaning services. This made our room feel like home away from home. The location was excellent with easy access to public transportation, a parking garage nearby, delicious cafes and restaurants all around us, and within walking distance to Old Lyon. Our host regularly checked in with us to if we needed anything, including information on local travel when we made a day trip south. We highly recommend staying at MHL and would stay again!

Liked: We spent 10 nights at MHL and absolutely loved it! The hosts, Jean Charles, Claire and Julie, are the kindest and most helpful hosts we have ever had. The suite was very comfortable and we slept well in the bed. Having a clothes washing machine was really convenient, and the dishwasher was nice, too. The location was perfect: a few minutes walk to the main metro line, there is a fantastic bakery right next door, as well as an amazing cheese shop and lots of great restaurants. We recommend MHL highly and would definitely go back if we visited Lyon again.

Overall pleasant with some minor imperfection

Liked: Overall a pleasant stay. The owners tried their best to appear helpful. Clean, furnished apartment with full utilities. However, the so called courtyard was in the vicinity of the kitchen of a restaurant, with staff throwing out garbage into a dumpster which happened to be in the centre of the courtyard. Additionally, noise insulation was suboptimal.
