  The hotel needs an update. It was passable for a short stay

  Liked: The staff at the receoption and at the bar were pleasant and helpful.. Having a bath tub to soak in at the end of the day is a bonus for me

  Disliked: We spent one night at the Novotel which was more than enough! The reception is shabby and in need of a total renovation. The room was small and badly designed, but had the necessities for a short stay. Breakfast was poor. There was limited choice and the surroundings were dismal.

  Average stay a bit too pricy

  Liked: Restaurant, bar and pool available

  Disliked: The room felt very old design and for a 4 star hotel. Bed / pillow were not that great. Not a good quality/price ratio for a Novotel hotel.

  Fantastic, comfortable hotel with fabulous breakfast

  Liked: Lovely service. Comfortable rooms. Very good breakfast.

  Disliked: It was a little out of the way for us, but still very well connected to public transport so no problem.

  Liked: Air conditioning was excellent, pol and outdoor area very clean. Although out of central Lyon we found d local restaurants to be much better than in Old Lyon

  Disliked: Room was small, had to ask on three occasions for a lightbulb to be changed. Choice on restaurant menu very limited and food satisfactory, not as good as I world expect for a 4 star hotel

  Liked: The staff were lovely. The room was always clean. The breakfast was enjoyable. The location is a little way out of the centre and next to busy and loud roads but actually, after initial worries it turned out to work out well. The nearby museums were enjoyable and the public transport is excellent.

  Disliked: The pool isn't as nice as it looks on the photos. The traffic noise is loud. The fact that windows can be fully opened on the 7th floor is a health and safety risk, especially for children. The coffee and tea options for the room were quite limited.
