Liked: The hotel is perfectly situated in the centre of Lyon. Walking distance to the notre dame, the old city, food markets and shopping.

Disliked: The hotel is in dire need of an upgrade. Carpets on floors and a heavy perfume odure in the hallways. We upgraded to superior room for an extra 20€ a day. The bed is large and very comfortable. The room is small and oldfashioned. A very tired bathroom from the 90s with boring toiletries. The cleaning daily was very good. Complimentary juice and popcorn in the minibar. No ironing possibilities.

Good for a night or two

Liked: Room toilet were spacious, the staff were clean and helpful. Location was okay.

Disliked: I wish the windows could be opened so it would be more airy. For smokers, only option is the light bar at the entrance which closes at 22:00.
