Liked: The location is excellent: pretty much in the vieux port and just a walk away from supermarkets, cafes, metro, etc

Disliked: No privacy curtains in the beds

Good location, hostel was just okay

Liked: The breakfast options were alright, the location was the best aspect of this hostel

Disliked: The A/C stopped working after the first night! I had to tell this to three different staff personnel, until the last one finally called a technician. Unfortunately, after the technician came, the A/C still wasn't working

Liked: Clean and comfortable, good location in old port/town.

Disliked: Very large dorms on two levels with noisy wooden staircase made for disturbing noise throughout the night. Guests and cleaners eorking in kitchen at same time. why not close kitchen from say 11 to 12 in morning.

Liked: The location was great except for the slog up the hill with luggage on narrow, cobblestone roads.

Disliked: Unfortunately I was there during two uprisings which effected my bus schedule as well as sense of safety. It was definitely "in the air" so to speak.

    Enjoyed my stay here

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff. Was put in better dorm than I booked. Spacious dorm and good kitchen with plenty of seating. Cafe behind the building. Good hot showers. Liked the old building. Short walk to the Old Port and metro and bus connections there. Lots of choice in cafes and restaurants in the area. Less expensive ones can be found in streets behind the old port. Easy to get to either walking or Metro from Gare St Charles. Notice board in hostel with upcoming activities. Kitchen is well equipped with fridges, kettle, microwave and hobs for cooking. No oven.

    Good value for its price

Liked: Excellent location, a building with flair. A problem with the reservation had been solved. Kitchen quite good. Dormitory for six spacious.

Disliked: The bunk bed in metál squeks at the smallest movement. There is no washbasin in the toilet in the dormitory, if the barhroom was occupied, one had to wait long just to wash hands. THere were only four lockers for six persons. The walls between the rooms are very thin, one can hear also a normal conversation. Shutting a door makes a loud noice in the night.
