Good
Disliked: Air conditioning was listed as available in the hotel, and this was true for the main areas (reception, restaurant, corridors, stairs) but not in the rooms. Two fans were available in the room, but this was unsufficient and we had a lot of trouble to sleep properly. If I would knew it, I would have not booked this place, we took it in particular because air conditioning was supposedly available. The misleading information should be corrected in the hotel information.
Liked: Clean and easy check in
Disliked: The room was nice and check in was easy. But at 11pm a guest swiped their card and gained access to our room which was a big shock. They had the wrong room but it was very concerning they were able to gain access. Additionally the tv turned on at 7.30am on its own at full volume waking us up. We wouldn’t stay here again as a result of these issues.
Lovely hotel, brilliant service
Liked: Loved the people that worked there. Helped us when we arrived. The room was clean and tidy. Another thing was the coffee and tea that was provided, a great idea that most hotels nowadays do not do.
Disliked: It's not that I didn't like it. If there were anything to change it would be information that's given for parking. That's not even their fault. When arriving they tried to explain where the free parking was.... it was hard to understand. Also when leaving we weren't informed that the pay machine wasn't working at the entrance of the stairs but that we could pay by card at the exit, losing 30 mins. It happens.
A little disappointed
Liked: The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good.
Disliked: Décor was tired and rough. The restaurant was overpriced for what it was and the food it served. The shower was so "eco" it would've been better to stand in the sink. Unfortunately we got bitten at night time whilst sleeping, but couldn't find the culprits.
Only good for 1 night if there is no other choice
Liked: Beds were ok
Disliked: Breakfast, staff at the restaurant, old hotel, messy, parking is a problem
