  Poor cost/performance ratio, we enjoyed the city but would not choose this apartment again

  Liked: The location was great, the historical center was a 10 walk away. The staff was very friendly.

  Disliked: The apartment was very dark, and the different lamps did not provide enough light either. The shower tap (which was probably a tub before) was installed so close to the ground that an average height person had to bend their knees to wash their hair. The mattresses were quite worn through and squeaky. The hairdryer that had to be fetched at reception (even though included in the room description) and overheated after 3 seconds. The breakfast was quite ok, even if the staff wasn’t very attentive. All in all quite a disappointing experience, especially at an above average price in this category.

  Liked: Excellent service. Lovely rooms. Excellent location.

  Quiet, well placed and welcoming

  Liked: Location is good - main square about a 10 minute walk. Railway station about 3 minutes. The street it is on is busy but the hotel is behind a courtyard and very quiet. Two good neighbourhood wine bar/restaurants on a tiny square immediately opposite and lots of small shops nearby. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to help. We only stayed one night so didn’t have time to try the pool and other facilities but would happily go back again.

  Would stay here again

  Liked: Staff = friendly, kind, helpful Room = spacious, matches photos, clean, comfortable, lots of storage space, extra pillows and blankets Location = perfect--close to the train station, and the center of town easily--every easily accessible by foot--no noise issues for sleep Kitchen = lots of appliance--kettle, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher

  Disliked: Sauna has limited use so needs to be asked to be used 30 minutes before hand but 30 minutes is not enough to heat it up all the way. It's a tough one to be environmentally and economically friendly--perhaps making it only available in the evenings or keep it all day but have a a few hours that it is known to always be full temp. Some basic kitchen pieces were missing, like a spatula, glasses that were a bit taller would be nice as well Would be nice to have some mini olive oil for cooking available. Shower felt like it was for shorter people. Moving the bar that the shower head is on up a bit higher would be a big help to anyone over 167cm.

  Good hotel with excellent staff and public spaces not matched by rather basic apartment facilities

  Liked: Didn't take breakfast in the hotel - - cafe breakfasts in France are preferred

  Disliked: Building works on the adjacent site overlooked our room. Electric light levels in bedroom very low.
