  Liked: Location was good everything else was shabby and unwelcoming.

  Disliked: Communal areas were shabby and dirty. The concierge only arrived at 5pm, we had to wait for 1.5 hours to get be given our room. He was surly, unhelpful and accused me of breaking the door to his office! His attitude was entirely in keeping with the hotel; shabby and disinterested. The hotel and room maintenance was extremely poor, one of the two doors to the shower was completely missing.

  Book it, Marc is great!

  Liked: Marc was super helpful, friendly and all round excellent. Good location. No issues with parking (made use of free parking on the street from 6pm to 9am). Very clean unit, same as photos online.

  Disliked: No issues but a small fridge in our room would have been great.

  Ideal for train station and short stay

  Liked: Room and location great, very helpful staff and best croissants of our whole holiday! Secure bike storage, tea & coffee in room, quaint top floor room, fine for one night and excellent for the price

  Disliked: Entrance and building interior tired and shabby, inside room lovely but tiny.

  Felt at home very comfortable and welcoming. Beds so comfortable and aircon a very welcome additio

  Liked: Location perfect. Staff very accomodating. A lovely stay and a great breakfast. They allowed us to park bikes out back and made suggestions of where to head out to for the evening.

  Convenient stop early centre of Tours

  Liked: Good continental breakfast, they even had marmalade.

  Disliked: The front of building says "Hotel" but "Chez Jacqueline " is only visible on a small sign by side door. Spiral staircase get to 1st floor reception not good for big bags or the unsteady.
