Vieux Tours and Place Plumereau
The old town has small hotels, guesthouses and apartments in half-timbered houses. Bars, restaurants and the Basilica of Saint-Martin are within walking distance, although the terraces are lively at night.
Cathedral quarter
Around Saint-Gatien and the Fine Arts Museum the area is quieter and more residential. There are charming hotels and apartments on historic streets, close to the Loire and a few minutes from the centre.
Station and centre
Between the station, the town hall and Rue Nationale there are chain hotels and modern accommodation. It is the most practical area if you arrive by train or are making trips to the châteaux, with the tram and shops close at hand.
