  Close to the center – important bedroom usage policy

  Liked: Free parking. About a 10-minute walk from the center, yet located in a quiet and safe area. There’s a nice balcony at the back of the building. Plenty of storage space, and the kitchen is well equipped.

  Disliked: Be aware of the rules regarding bedroom usage (there’s an extra charge if you’re 3–4 people or if you use both bedrooms). We missed that information at first, as we mainly compared prices, location, and photos. However, the host was very friendly and explained everything clearly. The blinds in the first bedroom (we only used one) don’t close completely, so if you’re sensitive to light, you might prefer the other bedroom instead. A nearby power socket by the bed would be nice, although we actually didn’t mind charging our phones in the kitchen. Overall, we would recommend this place!

  Liked: Beautiful apartment, clean & cosy, very well equipped in the city centre of Alba. Giorgia is a wonderful host, very helpful and provides a lot of information about the area:) there is also a private parking place.

  Recommend

  Liked: The apartment is spacious, comfortable and has everything you need. Giorgia was a great host who went out of her way to look after us. We were travelling with a baby and a toddler, Giorgia provided a cot, change mat and high chair. The location is perfect, a short walk to the centre and lots of great shops nearby and playgrounds for kids. Having private parking also made everything very easy.

  Exceptional

  Liked: Our host, Giorgia, helped us a lot to make our staying enjoyable and support us a lot. The apartment has a lot of space. In winter time, there might be a bit cold in the room even the heater originally equipped is on, but ask Giorgia for an extra heater, she tells us where it is. That extra heater makes a huge difference for a cold day!

  Liked: Everything! Georgia was the perfect hostess: friendly and responsive in advance of our trip, she went out of her way (Georgia works full time at an hour’s drive from Alba) to be present at our arrival. She and her sister Emma greatly helped with our check in, carrying luggage from our car to the 2nd floor apartment, and provided plenty of tips (shops, restaurants etc) to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The apartment had all we needed, with one minor exception (see below).

  Disliked: The apartment has no sitting/reading room; all but one of the chairs are kitchen or desk chairs.
