Fabulous
Great hotel close to the town centre
Liked: Very well kept, clean property. Great staff. Bikes available to borrow to get into town or walk in 20 minutes.
Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff. 👍🏾
Disliked: Plumbing noise from other rooms. It’s loud enough to wake me up while sleeping. We stayed in room 203. Heater didnt work one night. But they did fix it right away. 👍🏾
A charming small hotel in a beautiful surrounding
Liked: A charming small hotel. Feels very cosy. Beautiful garden. Good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Comfy bed.
Disliked: The outdoor swimming pool was closed (October). The location is a 20 min walk to the historic center. Walking at night felt quite safe, tho and during the day you can rent the bike, so not really a problem.
Best choice in Alba! Fabulous hotel, owner and staff!!
Liked: Absolute best hospitality, super clean, great beds, location was perfect! Free bikes to ride around town made it an extra fun experience!!
Disliked: Nothing, it was all great!
Liked: The staff were so helpful and could not do enough to accommodate us. They gave a bottle of wine on the house when we turned up at the hotel but our luggage hadn't made it to Italy. When it was delivered the next day they paid the 5 Euro charge for us as well. We were able to drink our own wine (bought on a wine tour) in the garden / restaurant with them providing glasss and an opener and when we needed a knife for a picnic they lent us one from the kitchen. The breakfast was really delicious and sitting in the gardens looking at vineyards whilst only being a 20 minute walk from the centre of town was also great.
Disliked: Our room was a really decent size and very comfortable but I think some of the others may be a lot smaller.
Liked: Lovely outdoor area. The location is great as they have bikes you can take into Alba.
Disliked: The ventilation systems were very loud and seem to not get the maintenance as it should. We have visited before without same issue. It seems odd that dogs are allowed in the garden/pool area where you have the sun beds. Several times, a dog owner allowed their dog to urinate in the pool area, unfortunately.
