Liked: The hotel location is nice to discover the Langhe region. Also the pool is refreshing.
Disliked: We were warmly greeted by the young staff at reception, who were friendly and willing to help. However, it was clear they lacked proper training and guidance. The manager appeared disengaged and seemed to prefer lounging by the pool over supervising his team. We had booked a room with a queen-size bed, but upon arrival we were given a room with two separate beds in a different part of the hotel. The room we originally reserved was suddenly only available if we paid an extra €50. This was only communicated at check-in and felt like an unfair and unprofessional upsell. Don’t expect much from the breakfast. Overall, a missed opportunity. The location and potential are there, but the service and management leave much to be desired.
