Great Choice
Liked: The apartment has everything to make you feel comfortable. The hosts are really easy to deal with and nice. It was a great choice
Our brief Italian apartment experiment was a success. We want to stay here longer next time
Liked: Alberto provided us with more choices than we would have expected to make a delicious breakfast throughout our 5 night stay. He provided non-dairy alternatives and even freshly made panetone and homemade jam. He even offered a few bottles of privately made wine that were as good as some that we had in the wineries. We are somewhat finicky in our dietary choices and there was even a small health food store next door to the apartment building which served us well. The location was excellent near to the Old Town with its abundant restaurants and shops. It was also very close to the train station for our day trip to Turin. We chose this apartment to see whether we might want to stay in a small Piedmont town for more than just a few days. We were very pleased and would definitely return here for a much longer stay in the future.
Disliked: The pillows on the bed were not quite like home but this wasn't a big problem. The bed and bedding were comfortable.
Lovely stay in Alba in a great apartment
Liked: The location was excellent, just 2-3 minutes to a main piazza with lots of restaurants and easily walkable from the train station. The decor was lovely, there were plenty of dishes, glasses, including wine glasses. The refrigerator was stocked with lots of breakfast items, including milk for coffee. The air conditioner was very good in a very hot few days. The gentleman who checked us in and out was very nice and even gave us a gift upon departure. My daughter commented this was likely her favorite vacation rental she has stayed in.
Disliked: Parking was quite tricky.
