Fabulous
Very convenient place to stay in Bergamo
Liked: The location was perfect, in the lower section of Bergamo. Within ten minutes walk of the main train station and also close to the funicular station the other way.
Disliked: There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms.
A very good hotel just at the center of the city
Liked: The hotel is located in the center of Bergamo. Everything is within a walking distance from it: the train station, the Donizetti theater, the funicular to the Citta Alta. The staff at the reception and the restaurant was very helpful and polite. The breakfast had a full variety of options. The room was clean and well maintained.
Liked: Stayed as room only with no breakfast as we decided to try something different every day- the room was very clean and serviced everyday - the location of the hotel is at the main crossroads in the new town about 500 metres from the bus and train station - and the number 1 bus stop is right beside the crossroads - the route that takes you up to the old town or back to the airport - about 1.70 euros each way.
Disliked: there was nothing to dislike -the staff were wonderful at reception and any queries they were most helpful all spoke english
